New York Broadcaster of the Year and Hall of Fame Luncheon
Leadership in broadcasting often involves New York’s best. The New York Broadcasters Association brings its acclaimed Leadership and Hall of Fame Luncheon to the NAB Show New York. In the past, we recognized business leaders such as Tom Murphy (CEO ABC/Cap cities), Robert Wright (President CEO NBC) and Lowry Mays (CEO Clear Channel). Journalists such as Walter Cronkite, Barbara Walters, Mike Wallace, Charlie Gibson, Peter Jennings and Norah O’Donnell have been honored. Al Roker, Regis Philbin, Rachel Ray and Seth Meyers have graced our events. Political figures, including Sen. Charles Schumer, Governor Mario Cuomo, Mayor Rudy Giuliani and Congressman Peter King have addressed our luncheons. Most importantly, we honor local radio and television broadcasters who represent the best in broadcasting from across New York. Join us for lunch on Thursday, October 19 and help us honor the best in our profession and those that shape the future of our business.
