Peer-to-peer marketplaces have disrupted everything from travel to banking, allowing for everyday people to turn their assets and skills into revenue. This trend has now moved into the world of film production, with creatives renting out everything from Red camera packages to dolly track systems. This session will give the audience a chance to engage with filmmakers whose equipment is bringing them income, how they do it, and all the details you need to get started. Expect to learn about the different marketplace platforms, how much revenue certain kinds of equipment can make, what you need to know about insurance, and how to avoid getting your equipment stolen.
