The satellite industry is undergoing a tremendous growth in capabilities as companies launch constellations of smaller satellites. The number of satellites has increased 47% over the last 5 years, and applications have been filed in the U.S. alone for more than 18,000 additional satellites. Most of these are for constellations of smaller satellites with applications ranging from broadband communications, to earth observation, to RF monitoring from space. This panel will explore how this will impact traditional media applications and the opportunities that will be created to utilize their many capabilities.
