WASHINGTON, D.C.-- Internet infrastructure analyst Dan Rayburn, in association with the 2018 NAB Show New York, has announced the new EdgeNext Summit, a one-day conference that will focus on content distribution at the edge and all that is taking place with CDN (Content Delivery Network), WAF (Web Application Firewall), DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service), managed DNS & more. Taking place Monday, October 15 at the Convene meeting space near Grand Central, the Summit will explore all the new decentralized ways services are being brought closer to the eyeballs. From the last mile to the last inches, attendees will learn how the Edge is improving the end-user experience.

Initial sponsors for the event include Amazon Web Services, CenturyLink, Ericsson, Fastly, Google, KingSoft, Limelight Networks, Rafay, StackPath, Verizon Digital Media Services and Zycada.

The summit will comprise two tracks, and nearly 50 speakers, the EdgeNext Summit will feature a combination of technical use cases, case study presentations and fireside chats, of like-minded professionals with similar challenges and goals.

The EdgeNext Summit follows the launch of the Streaming Summit, which debuted at the 2018 NAB Show in Las Vegas. As previously announced, the Streaming Summit will also take place at this year’s NAB Show New York.
