NAB Announces Record-Breaking Attendance for 2016 NAB Show New York

NEW YORK -– The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) today announced preliminary registered attendance of 15,404 for the 2016 NAB Show New York. The event was held November 9 – 10 at the Javits Convention Center and is the largest media, entertainment and technology convention on the East Coast. The attendance figure represents a nearly 30 percent increase over 2015 preliminary registered attendance of 12,055.

The exhibition featured 362 companies spanning 63,011 net square feet of exhibit space, a 15 percent increase over 2015.

PRELIMINARY REGISTERED ATTENDEES: 15,404

PRELIMINARY REGISTERED INTERNATIONAL ATTENDEES: 1,112

COUNTRIES REPRESENTED: 87

“The growth of this year’s show is a testament to the power of the NAB Show brand and our ability to produce a dynamic and productive experience for attendees and exhibitors,” said NAB Executive Vice President of Communications Dennis Wharton. “We look forward to continuing to find new ways to serve media and entertainment professions in this unique and thriving New York media market and beyond.”

As previously announced, NAB Show New York will co-locate with the Audio Engineering Society's East Coast convention October 18 - 19, 2017.

All numbers are based on pre-show and onsite registration and subject to an ongoing audit.
