Award-winning political journalist Soledad O’Brien and National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) President and CEO Gordon Smith will be featured in a keynote session on the intersection of media and politics, Wednesday, November 9 at NAB Show New York. PILOT Innovation Challenge Announces 10 Finalists

PILOT, an innovation initiative of the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB), announced the 10 finalists of its first-ever PILOT Innovation Challenge. The Challenge recognizes creative ideas that leverage technological advances in the production, distribution and display of engaging content. Winners will be selected and announced October 31 at the NAB Futures conference.

Leading TV Producer Charlie Corwin and Entertainment Marketing Exec Lewis Henderson Set For NAB Show New York Advertising Keynote

Charlie Corwin, co-chairman of Endemol Shine Americas and co-CEO of Endemol Shine North America; and Lewis Henderson, CEO of The Marketing Arm’s entertainment group, will participate in the advertising keynote at NAB Show New York on Thursday, November 10th at 1:30 p.m. Corwin and Henderson will engage in a keynote conversation on the topic of brand partnerships and how best to deliver results for major consumer advertisers across broadcast and digital, while still creating best-in-class content.

NAB Show New York and Audio Engineering Society to Co-Locate Conventions in 2017

The Audio Engineering Society (AES) East Coast convention in 2017 will be co-located with NAB Show New York at the Javits Convention Center in New York City, event organizers announced today. The AES annual fall USA Convention will be held October 18-21, and NAB Show New York will be held October 18-19. The adjacent location of these events highlights the intersection of sound, video, and storytelling in today’s media landscape.
